Hi, I am Shruti

I’m the founder and creative head behind Dancepiration. My journey with dance began in Delhi, India, where I started learning Bharatanatyam at the age of six. Very soon, I was performing both solo and in groups on stage, and the stage quickly became my happy place.

When my family moved to Auckland, New Zealand, a lot changed, but my love for dance stayed with me. Even at casual gatherings, the moment Bollywood music played, I’d be the first on the dance floor. Dance has always been a part of who I am.

With passion, training, and dedication, I started Dancepiration to share the joy of Bollywood dance with the Auckland community. Through workshops, wedding choreographies, event performances and more, my goal is to spread the energy and vibrancy of Bollywood culture.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of performing at many events across New Zealand, and I look forward to continuing this journey with all of you through Dancepiration.
